Currently, most gas stations adopt canopy designs with a space frame structure.

In terms of appearance, the flat-roof design is favored due to its quick construction, easy mobility, and suitability for standardized design and construction. Initially, the edges of the canopy were adorned with bright red colors, making them highly noticeable and attracting customers. This visual design became a common feature in modern gas stations and continues to be used today.

In terms of functionality, the space frame structure not only provides stability and durability but also offers shade and shelter from rain, preventing gasoline from igniting due to intense sunlight, among other basic needs, while maximizing space.

The most important reason is the low cost of construction, convenience of maintenance in the later stages, and the ability to form a replicable model.

 A beautiful gas station is more attractive, and redesigning the commonplace gas station with bold creativity brings a sense of freshness, adding more value to it.

However, with the development of the gas station industry, people have begun to realize the value of innovation. How to integrate commerce with individuality will be the key to standing out among the uniformity.

We no longer believe that gas stations are only for refueling cars. With the upgrading of consumption, aesthetic appreciation has increased. The natural beauty of the mountain city Chongqing and the extraterrestrial world of Pandora

Chongqing is located in the Sichuan Basin, with a complex and diverse terrain, dominated by mountains. This coincides with the mountainous characteristics of Pandora. Chongqing is advancing along the path of ecological civilization, where the environment is continuously improving, and the harmony between man and nature is emphasized. This concept of "harmony between man and nature" is what we aspire to and is also what the movie "Avatar" aims to convey.

Extracting creative elements from the Pandora planet, "Flying Bird - Ilyanka," "Pandora - Jungle Ambiance," these elements are integrated throughout the gas station and air station, creating an atmosphere of natural growth and harmonious coexistence. Users feel as if they are immersed in it, living in prosperity, and returning to nature.

Creative Design of Oil and Gas Sheds

"A new corresponding solution under double-layer difficulties"

There is a light rail passing under the gas station, and high-voltage lines above, so there cannot be any foundation buildings. Therefore, it became exceptionally difficult for the oil shed and convenience store to land. We cleverly bypassed this restriction using flexible tensile membrane structures while also incorporating the shape of the "Flying Bird - Ilyanka Wing." It presents a posture of gathering momentum and flying towards the distance.

Through the design of this themed gas station, we hope to help gas station operators use their unique business thinking to open and influence this rapidly changing experiential consumption era, catering to and leading at the same time.

② Bold and Innovative Gas Station Design

The National Oil Company of the United Arab Emirates recently opened and operated its latest image-designed gas station in Dubai. The highlight is that the entire gas station canopy is made of carbon fiber material. This new image design is to welcome the upcoming 2020 World Expo in Dubai.

The newly designed canopy adopts the shape of the national tree of the UAE, the Ghaf tree. The Ghaf tree can survive in extreme arid environments. The branches and stems of the leaves have boldly replaced traditional canopy pillars, and the entire canopy is made of carbon fiber, weighing less than one-third of traditional canopies. This is the first time that carbon fiber materials have been used to make the entire canopy of a gas station, thus obtaining the innovative certification of LEED GOLD environmental building design in the United States. 

In addition to the innovative canopy material and design, the gas station also adopts a series of high-tech and new technologies, including solar and wind energy generation, rainwater and wastewater treatment and recycling, artificial intelligence automatic management of refueling positions, automatic payment, etc.

Due to cost reasons, carbon fiber canopies cannot yet be widely commercially promoted at gas stations. However, from the perspective of brand innovation promotion, it does have the effect of attracting attention.
