Eight Key Factors in Aluminum-Magnesium-Manganese Roof Design

When designing an aluminum-magnesium-manganese roof, eight factors must be considered: strong wind resistance, water leakage prevention, aesthetics, insulation performance, long lifespan, cost-effectiveness, architectural coordination, and adaptability to thermal expansion and contraction. Let's take a closer look at these factors.

 Aluminum magnesium manganese roof

1. Aesthetics: The surface layer uses titanium-zinc plates with a "pre-weathered grey" color. Currently, the hierarchy of roofing materials is: titanium alloy composite plates, copper plates, titanium-zinc plates, aluminum-magnesium-manganese alloy plates, and aluminum-zinc plates (sheets). Titanium alloy plates are widely used in grand theaters but are not suitable for ordinary buildings due to their high cost and bright colors.

2. Strong Wind Resistance: The roofing system uses six fasteners per square meter, each with three nails, totaling 18 fasteners per square meter. This makes it the most resistant roofing system globally.

3. Leakage Prevention: The full name of the roof system is "vertical coal seam support roof system." Historically, the "iron bucket" method used cold working and metal drawing techniques for excellent waterproof performance. Additionally, the installation involves overlapping 0.6mm corrugated steel plates from top to bottom, helping discharge some condensation.

4. Insulation Performance: Adding insulation cotton between double-layer steel plates significantly enhances the overall insulation performance of the roofing system.

5. Lifespan: Steel requires galvanization to prevent rust, ensuring its longevity. Titanium-zinc plates typically last between 70 to 100 years.

6. Cost-Effectiveness: This design is straightforward and the simplest among all roofing installations.

7. Adaptability to Thermal Expansion and Contraction: The fasteners in the roofing system can slide along their bases with temperature changes, preventing the plates from cracking.

8. Architectural Coordination: The color and lines of carbon grey are popular. The plates have a "self-healing" property, meaning any surface scratches during installation can heal automatically.
