For sealing small gaps between the sandwich panel roof and wall, glass glue suffices. In cases of larger gaps, constructing a waterproof channel using color steel plates, riveted securely with rivets and sealed with glass glue, proves effective.

Another method involves using silicone sealant, particularly construction-grade silicone sealant known for superior waterproofing. This two-component paste, with its components distinguishable by color, ensures easy mixing in a 1:1 mass ratio. Adjusting the ratio can modulate curing speed, with a higher proportion of Component B accelerating the process. The mixture should be thoroughly blended to eliminate any color disparities.

Fire Prevention Measures for Color Sandwich Panel Roofs

1. Utilization of rock wool, renowned for its excellent fire resistance, as the core material ensures long-term fire protection.

2. During construction, avoid exposing the core material to open flame operations like electric or gas welding.

3. Maintain a safe distance between heat and fire sources and the steel plate during usage. For kitchen setups within color steel plate structures, install a thermal insulation layer along with a fireproof rock wool insulation layer on the walls.

4. Preferably, avoid running wires and cables through the core material. If necessary, use protective sleeves. Opt for metal galvanized boxes and surface-mounted sockets and switch boxes.

5. Equip indoor and outdoor spaces with basic fire extinguishing equipment, and install fire alarms for prompt evacuation if feasible.

6. Maintain a safe separation of at least 6 meters between color steel plate structures. While the sandwich filling material in these structures may be flammable without strict flame retardant treatment, it's not prone to spontaneous ignition. Thus, rigorous, scientific management is crucial to keep fire away from these materials, constituting a significant strategy in preventing color steel plate roof fires.
