High-Altitude Bulk Assembly

 High-Altitude Bulk Assembly Method: Suitable for various types of bolt-ball node grid structures and is recommended to use the cantilever construction method with fewer scaffolds.

 High-Altitude Bulk Assembly

1. Definition: High-altitude bulk assembly refers to the method where small assembly units or scattered parts are directly assembled at their design position.

2. Technical Review: Conduct technical review of the foundation axis, elevation, or the top of the columns' axis and elevation based on the measurement control network.

3. Full Scaffold Assembly: When assembling the grid with full scaffolding, the top of the scaffold should be fully covered with planks or column foot plates to serve as an operation platform. If the grid is connected by welding, all welding work should be completed on this high-altitude platform with strict fire safety precautions.

4. Cantilever Assembly Method: Pre-fabricate small units and use a crane to lift these units to their design elevation for assembly. The cantilever method reduces the need for scaffolding, saving materials. The cantilevered portion of the grid must have sufficient rigidity and maintain its geometry.

5. High-Altitude Bulk Assembly Process Steps:

   - Erect partial scaffolding.

   - Assemble four-corner cone units on the ground.

   - Partially assemble the grid on the partial scaffolding, forming a starter span unit.

   - Use lifting equipment to assemble the starter span unit, which is fixed to the starter span unit, and lift the four-corner cone units to the height. The assembly then symmetrically extends from the middle of the starter span unit to both sides until the entire bolt-ball grid is assembled.

 


This invention's high-altitude bulk assembly process for bolt-ball grids is suitable for installing various large-span bolt-ball grid roof structures. It does not require large construction machinery, is relatively simple to operate, and only requires a small amount of support scaffolding, greatly improving labor efficiency and reducing labor intensity.
