It is close to the town of Saariselkä, with convenient transportation, and does not affect the chances of seeing the aurora. The clear, unpolluted environment of Lapland in the Arctic Circle is one of the best places in the world to view the Northern Lights.

Dreamlike, magnificent, grand, and mysterious, the beauty of the aurora is unreal. Here, you will find that the beauty of the aurora is not out of reach. Compared to fully transparent glass igloos, semi-transparent ones are better, as they meet the need to see the aurora right outside the window while providing greater privacy.

Additionally, Northern Light Village has its own reindeer enclosure where you can feed the reindeer yourself. Although fully transparent glass igloos may look better in photos, based on the personal experience of my colleagues on the front line, they are not suitable for everyone. Therefore, staying in semi-transparent glass igloos is a more practical choice for chasing the aurora in Finland.
