It is important to note that not every region, country or even international airport has an aircraft maintenance hangar. These are expensive facilities that perform heavy basic maintenance. This means they must accommodate the aircraft itself, scaffolding, maintenance stations, tools and various ground support equipment such as electric tugs or aircraft stabilizer mounts.
